In order to cope with the new situation of phased array radar anti-jamming, target detection and tracking and strong survivability requirements, radar waveform generator based on direct digital synthesis technology has been rapid development because of its unique advantages. This waveform generator has programmable model of high stability arbitrary waveform output, which is able to adapt to the needs of a variety of work and occupies an important position in modern radar system.There is an urgent demand in research on radar digital waveform generator.In this thesis based on analyzing the principle of direct digital synthesis technology and LFM signal on the DDWS digital synthesis technology, complete the design of independent parameter control dual channel multi-mode waveform generator. The waveform generator module logical design and hardware system is designed based on NIOS II systerm, FPGA and high speed DAC. The test results show that the design of the dual-channel multi-mode waveform generator is successful.The main work of this thesis includes:(1) Analysis of the principle and error model of direct digital synthesis technology,introduces the method to generate LFM signal.(2) Combining the module design requirements, analysis and design the scheme ofdouble channels of LFM signal control parameters based on DDWS.(3) Using a flexible control and on programmable chip system NIOS II features tocomplete dual channel LFM signal generator scheme,complete the hardware andsoftware design and debugging.(4) Completed test and analysis of the ouput of hardware platform of multi-modewaveform generator.
