Radar simulation technology is developed a new radar system design technology in recent years. With the new system, multifunctional, highly integrated, design and development of digital radar, also put forward higher requirements for the design of radar RF simulation.RF system of radar consists of many subsystems, each subsystem can be described by physical or mathematical model.Design and development of the traditional radar system are carried out in an experimental way, spend a lot of time and labor costs.Computer processing of RF system model can save time and cost to obtain a result, through the analysis of results can satisfy the system requirements.This thesis discusses the definition and characteristics of bistatic radar, radar equation is derived by coordinate geometry relationship building, principle of target positioning are described. Describes the radar equation derivation of airborne bistatic radar, the relationship between swath width, range resolution and receiving antenna selection conditions, pulse repetition frequency.In this thesis, based on the analysis of airborne bistatic radar target, simulation and design of the RF module using ADS simulation software, the simulation module of the phase-locked loop(PLL) principle, the low noise amplifier(LNA) design, direct frequency synthesis technology(DDS) is introduced and analyzed in detail. The harmonic balance method, finite element method, the radio frequency simulation method of moments(MOM), finite difference time domain(FDTD) and the characteristics of four kinds of basic principle of the algorithm, are introduced.The circuit design simulation of RF subsystem, the simulation process and detailed descriptions of each part, analysis of the simulation results, for hybrid simulation on the overall the whole receiving link, verify the signal through the design of transceiver channel on signal parameters. Parameters and signal processing of the interface had design based on Graphical User Interface(GUI) function of the MATLAB,and get the data of linear frequency modulation signal(LFM) through RF system.Through the analysis of actual data, the comparison of simulation and actual circuit design, find out the shortage of system simulation and test system, find the future need to optimize and improve the design.
