SOPC technology allows the processors and peripherals from an embedded system to be flexible. It is possible to complete the configuration of the microprocessor and the connection of the buses and peripherals on a single separate programmable device. In this way the system could be built efficiently and flexibly. Meanwhile, the EDK kit provides the design environment in which the process ranging from hardware to software can be completed, with the help of the process the design can be completed and with the help of hardware and software co-simulation the test of system can be completed, which greatly improves the efficiency of the system design. In the background which modern communications technology is developing rapidly, the research and development of advanced technology such as LTE will more and more rely on the SOPC system platform, which will be a trend.Firstly, the development and testing process of SOPC system is introduced. For the equalization technology of wireless communication systems, from the preset equalization to adaptive equalization to blind adaptive equalization are introduced focusing on CMA equalization algorithm with changing step size. Complete the process from Simulink model to the Hardware IP Core design using System Generator. The application software of changing step size is finished according to a custom algorithm. Finally the IP Core is mounted to complete the hardware test.Furthermore, the design of a customized IP Core is processed according to the control interface for RF wireless communication. Knowing the RF control interface protocol, this article completes the user logic with the help of HDL, then the drivers of the IP Core is generated. The design is continuing by writing the application software which will be run in MicroBlaze. When all is done, the completed IP Core is mounted in SOPC system, in this way the condition of co-simulation is met. The system is tested with interrupt control and the ideal result is got.In this paper, the design process of IP Core in SOPC system is introduced. The technical superiority and applicability of SOPC system is reflected.
