In recent years, domestic automobile manufacturers has increased the development of their own brands, in order to further improve their development models, most of the companies have introduced and established the benchmark system. The benchmarking analysis technology is the shortcut to establish a distributed collaborative knowledge base of vehicle and parts, especially for those companies which lack of systematic and comprehensive knowledge accumulation. With the development of design and research, in order to reduce the research costs and improve the design level, Changan Suzuki has created its own benchmark system.This thesis mainly focuses on the design ideas and research work throughout the development process. Object-oriented development methods, databases and internet technologies are used in the whole system development, besides, the mainstream framwork of My Eclipse +Struts+Hibernate+Spring is also adapted. Based on the knowledge and data management of the target vehicle and parts, the structural knowledge of vehicle is divided systematically, therefore the input, query and comparative analysis functions of vehicle parameters are achieved.After the analysis of the feasibility of the system development conditions and needs, the setting of the objective and the clear division of each functional modules, as per the customer′s requirements, the whole system is divided into three modules, which are the management of basic datas, the management of parameters and the automotive molding data display and comparison. The first module is mainly operated by the system admistrators to set up the information of the system categories, users and their authorities. The data maintenance person will be in charge of the management of all the parameters and pictures of the vehicle and its parts such as pipeline system, vehicle performance, vehicle quality, main operating force, the interior and exterior appearance, sound-proofing, materials, DQR evaluation, Gap difference and static dimension. Meanwhile, the users are able to set up the appropriate display form and on the basis of the BOM directory structure, the comparative analysis of different vehicles or different parts of the same vehicle can be carried out by the analyzer. In the second part of the article, it mainly talks about the design of the database, the realization of the functional modules, the interface and UI design. In the third part, the test of the system, including some of the examples. In the fourth part, the configuration of some of the softwares on the server. In the last part, the users guide.In a word, Chong Qing Suzuki benchmark system developed with very optimized programming techniques. As the system meets the needs of the company, hereby the whole development process is reorganized to make this thesis.
