The main subject is a method for measuring the speed of the existing cable sheathing, cable size, insulation material and mechanical properties of geometric parameters of the slow,difficult enough to meet the high precision requirements of modern production, thus achieving a non-contact, high-precision automated, flexible, intelligent cable sheathing and insulation layer geometry and mechanical properties of parameters on-line detection system has great practical significance, and there is a broad market prospect.Cable sheath geometry and mechanical properties of the project design parameter measurement is based on computer vision image automated optical inspection systems, integrated use of electronics, optical detection, image processing and computer technology, image processing technology into measurement, including image filtering, sub-pixel edge positioning, edge tracking, contour extraction, edge fitting algorithms to achieve the cable sheath thickness measurements and measurements of the mechanical properties of insulating materials. The system can be automated detection of non-contact, high precision and high efficiency outstanding advantages.Developed a set of geometric and mechanical properties of the cable jacket parameter automatic optical inspection technology software systems. The experimental software system can be a good measure of the cable sheath geometry and mechanical performance parameters.
