Optical tomography is of great interest in many areas such as remote sensing, target recognition, military,aerospace, industrial detection bio-medical research,and so on. It is most necessity and important significance of the research of this apparatus and method for Optical tomography.Optical tomography is a new type of imaging technology, and obtains the characteristic parameters of object by reflection and radiation effects of the light in the measured object. In this thesis, optical tomography scanning system is designed based on the theory of optical tomography. The scanning system consists of a reticle of uniform scribed line, two symmetrical focusing lens and periscope systems, whose symmetry plane is a reticle. The light of the object to be modulated by scanning system, then the light is focused on the photoelectric detector through the focusing lens, at last the signal is collected by the acquisition card. Based on the study of the direct projection algorithm and filter back projection algorithm, two-dimensional image reconstruction is achieved by the sampled signal processing of two kinds of tomographic algorithms.The resolution of the image reconstruction is mainly decided by the parameters of reticle in scanning system. In analysis of the reticle parameters, the feasibility of the system is verified by the simulation.In the paper,the optical tomography system is designed in detail, including the scanning system, the transmission structure and the data acquisition system. A experimental device of optical tomography is gradually established. The signal is processed and the reconstructed image is displayed and analysed by software programming. At last the feasibility of the system is verified by the preliminary experimental results.
