FLASH P2P is developed by Adobe in the platform of FLASH P2P (Peer To Peer) technology, the technology based on RTMFP (Real Time Media Flow Protocol), through the comprehensive development and perfection, has been widely used in real-time communication video on demand broadcast, file sharing, distributed computing and other fields. Implementation of video communication by using this technology, the pressure will greatly reduce the operator, at the same time, improve the user experience.This paper takes Flash P2P as the research object, using Flash P2P network traffic as the key research contents, according to the RTMFP protocol analysis. First of all, through the core network nodes such as gateway or Flash P2P client to capture, access to Flash flow, statistics and the flow characteristics analysis P2P; then according to the flow characteristics, mathematical modeling, further reveal the user behavior of Flash P2P network, and based on the above research and analysis, the establishment of Flash P2P traffic prediction model of the six domestic cities and three major site of Flash P2P traffic prediction. Finally we through some indicators (such as online users and localization) to clarify the relationship between Flash P2P and traditional P2P model.In this paper, the general aim of the indicators through the in-depth analysis of the FlashP2P service model, and on this basis, the establishment of mathematical model, and finally through the comparison shows the relationship between Flash P2P and traditional P2P,specific research target can be subdivided into the following three sub goals:1. According to the characteristics of Flash P2P to carry on the research of some indicators, such as a few number of online users, cold and hot resources ranking and playback delay and other aspects of the Flash P2P business model research;2. Verification of Flash P2P whether it conforms to the classical mathematical distribution, and analysis of Flash P2P traffic characteristics, mathematical modeling, mathematical model and finally gives the corresponding flow prediction;3.From different indicators will Flash P2P and traditional P2P were compared, to determine the relationship of Flash P2P compared with the traditional P2P is basically the same, still have bigger difference.
