At present, experts manage the domain knowledge by electronic documents or database which easily causes low value of data application, poor sharing and so on.The main way to solve those problems is to construct the domain ontology. Getting inspiration from the Formal Concept Analysis, this paper proposes a semi-automatic development method of domain ontology--DOPOM. The method analysis and changes the action mechanism of domain experts’ knowledge on semi-automatic ontology construction, and merges project ontologies to create domain ontology based on FCA. The merits of the method are given: First, it helps form a targeted ontology according to a topic or a project; Second, each targeted ontology has relatively concentrated concepts; Third, it points out a way which realized domain ontology’s dynamic growth in scientific research work.As the core data structure of Formal Concept Analysis Theory, concept lattices has played an increasingly important role in knowledge engineering. Currently, various algorithms have been developed for building concept lattice effectively. In this paper, a new method is introduced by choose the right divide and conquer mode based on intension correlation, the definition of which is presented. Verified in applications, this method can be applied to previous studies about semi-automatic domain ontology construction model building in DOPOM softly.
