In recent years, with the continuous development of computer hardware, software, digitalmedia technology updates, crowd simulation technology has been greatly promoted anddeveloped. At present, the crowd simulation plays an important role in many fields ofmovies, games, virtual reality etc. However, crowd evacuation simulations mainly exist thefollowing problems: In crowd evacuation simulation, three-dimensional model of the building iscreated freely, rather than on the true proportion and diversity cannot meet the needs. Meanwhile,in a large-scale crowd evacuation simulation,the crowds are mostly copied from the limitedtemplates, and the colors are too single. It is difficult to give a real sense of crowd evacuation if alarge number of character models with similar appearance are provided, And the crowd is lack ofrealism, while giving a dull feeling. Moreover, the action of crowd is too single and the people inthe large crowd simulation moves too uniform, too inflexible. Therefore, we study the crowdevacuation simulation technology in three-dimensional modeling. In order to get the3Dmodel of diversity, the main works of this paper include:(1) Aiming at the problem of3D model building diversity, we use3D modeling softwareMaya and MEL to create model interactively. By creating three-dimensional models of buildingsbased on real scenarios and the model with different textures,we can get more realistic anddiversified three-dimensional scene models.(2) In view of the diversity of characters,we focus on the head feature which is the mostimportant part to distinguish different people. First, we use the Kinect to create the head modelof people and simplify it. Second, we combine the head model with the human body, add thebones and the skin, and then adopt the UV segmentation, the UV cutting and separating. Third,we use PS to process the model texture. Using this method,we can create a variety of rolemodels. Finally, we create a library for the character models.(3) As for the problem of action variety, the different characters in the crowd evacuationsimulation should execute different actions. In this paper, we use Motion Builder to make acertain action. Finally, we plan the crowd movement path, and simulate the crowd evacuationanimations in particular buildings.
