The target may have small vibrations, rotations or other high-order motions inaddition to the center of mass, which is called micro-motion. The Radar signals ofmoving targets on the ground contain rich micro-motion characteristic. Thesecharacteristics are seen as the unique characteristic of the target and playing veryimportant role in the area of target identification and classification. In recent years, theresearch of target’s feature is very hot not only in China but also in abroad. In thisthesis, the micro-motion features in different types of vehicles under SAR/GMTIscene are studied. The Displaced Phase Center Antenna (DPCA) method is chosen toslove the background clutter problem. The inhibition effect of DPCA to thebackground clutter and the vehicle target’s Micro-Doppler feature is analysed. Themain works of the thesis are as follows:1、The three vehicle target’s (Wheeled vehicles target, The first kind of trackedvehicles, The second kind of tracked vehicles) Micro-Doppler echo signal is based onthe scattering point model and the structure of the three vehicle target. A new kind ofsimulation method: the simulation based on the sampling sequence divided into zerois put forward based on the crawler movement part of the tracked vehicle.2、The short-time Fourier transform (STFT) is used to analyse the vehicle target’sMicro-Doppler echo signal under single channel, and the echo signal is based on thesimulation. The Micro-Doppler feature of the vehicle target in different parameters isanalysed by changing the target parameters, radar parameters, the simulation modelparameters, the target/radar joint parameters of the simulation scene.3、The influence of the background clutter to the vehicle target’s Micro-Dopplerfeature is analysed by the experiment. The wheeled vehicle target is chosen forexample, and the Displaced Phase Center Antenna (DPCA) method is chosen toanalyse the inhibition effect of the background clutter in the Micro-Doppler scene. The influence of DPCA method on the vehicle target’s Micro-Doppler characteristicsis analysed by the theoretical derivation and experiment.
