With global positioning capabilities of mobile devices allow user to retrieval their related points of interest(POI) at their nearby location. In order to protect the privacy of users, It is very important that the exact location coordinates of users not exposed to un-trusted third party that provide location based services. Since the information of user’s location can be associated with the sensitive details about lifestyle, political or religious affiliation, health and other personal information etc. At present, There are two main approaches in this field:(1)Hiding user’s locations in the cloaking regions.(2)Using Private Information Retrieval(PIR)protocol to encrypt location data.The LS wishes to provide high quality of location-based services to the users, But resulting in additional disclosure of point of interest(POI) data set. For instance hiding users location with supporting continuous queries requires a large-sized cloaking regions and these spatial regions contains a large number of points of interest.Private Information Retrieval(PIR)on the other hand, Control tightly the amount of POI exposure.But in the process of query processing takes a high cost of computational and communication overhead.Previous work mainly focused on how to find good trade-offs between privacy and performance on a variety of protection technique. But in order to provide high qualities to the users, The LS may disregard their own POIs of database. In nowadays, With the increasingly development of mobile internet era of big data. the POI data set represents a valuable asset to the service provider. The provider can collected user’s location information from the application of the location service. Such that prevent the data abused become more and more important issue for the location of service provider.To address above-mentioned problems. This topic for privacy location-based queries by effective combine the Cloaking Regions(CRs) with Privacy Information Retrieval technology(PIR). Which ensure the privacy of the location information queries for both the users and the service provider’s database resources.The research including:(1) Provide strongly privacy between users and servers by improving the private evaluation of Point-Rectangle enclosure protocol. This protocol can privately determined which one of the titles enclosed the POI by a cryptographic method. It protect the query result and the information inside the database owed by location service provider at the same time.(2) Employing a flexibility multi-index structure that can efficiently find at run-time the leaf nodes that intersect query and supports PIR processing with respect to a user generated cloaked region.(3) To protect the database of POI exposure as well as reduce computational resources and communication costs. Finally,this paper will through experiment prove this method is flexible in practice and the superiorityin computation and communication costs.
