The Research And Implementation Of Digital Signature In School Roll System

School rolls are the records of students’personal information and performance. They are personal private files, and also the standard of evaluating students’ performance, and the basic of education research. As the development of technology, the form of school rolls transfers from paper to digital file. This transformation ensures a better application effect compared with paper based generation. However, there are some limitation of digital school rolls, for example, how to ensure the security of network transmission of digital school rolls.In order to ensure the security of school roll files, there are three aspects which should be considered:integrality, confidentiality, non-repudiation. Digital signature technology can improve the security of digital school rolls. In this thesis, a PKI flatform framework was constituted, and the process method of secret key and certificate was designed based on features of PKI, which includes application and cancelling certificate, saving certificate and some other aspects, and the share of school rolls inside school was discussed, furthermore, the development of school rolls into PKI core in inner-school share was also discussed, which include two aspects, the framework design of authentication center, and process strategy.In my system, digital school rolls were saved as the form of XML files, therefore, the digital school rolls must be equipped with the feature of institutionalize. XML signature technology defines a set of digital signature methods which are expressed by XML language, and criteria of processing XML documents. In this thesis, the digital signature technology based on XML have been studied, and two plans have been designed for digital signature program position and running time. Based on the flatform features of PKI and XML documents, the XML signature type has been designed, and the process of XML digital signatureThe timing of signature is a key element of improving; the non-repudiation of school rolls, and the timestamp technology can also improve the non-repudiation of school rolls. In this thesis, a network timestamp server was adopted as the basis, and our own timestamp proxy server was constituted based on the features of PKI, and the XML form of timestamp in XML school rolls was designed, furthermore, the request and test program of timestamp was designed based on timestamp agreement.
