The study of the electromagnetic radiation and the electromagnetic compatibility of wire antennas mounted on or near electrically large complicated conducting surface is one of the most extremely challenging issues. This paper focuses on how to quickly analyze the electromagnetic radiation properties of wire antennas in the presence of electrically large complicated conducting platforms, and its application in actual engineering. The main works are as follow:Firstly, the Method of Moments(MoM) is derived in detail on how to deal with electromagnetic problems, including the special process of target modeling, the selection of the basis function, the resolution of singular matrix, the calculations of voltage column vector, and the solution of current coefficient. The scattering and radiation characteristics of conducting targets are especially analyzed when wire antennas exists. Calculation instances and numerical results are shown for the following comparison.Secondly, both the hybrid MoM-PO method and the iterative MoM-PO method are proposed for the radiation analysis of wire antennas with the wire antenna modeled by the thin narrow strip structure in the dissertation, and the formulas of the two methods are derived in detail. Through comparing the results, the hybrid method and the iterative method have better efficiency than the traditional MoM method on the condition that they can get the allowed accuracy. At last, the MoM-PO method is used to analyze several models including electrically large complicated conducting surface(s) and wire antenna(s), also the radiation characteristics of wire antenna(s) mounted on a satellite are analyzed, and the numerical results show the good efficiency and accuracy of the presented method.
