With the rapid development of computer technology and the maturity of recognition technology, based on physiological characteristics of various identification techniques such as palm, fingerprint, voice, retina, eye and face patterns, etc. have come out from the lab. Currently, from the precise practical point of view, face recognition technology is a method other biometric identification technology. In this paper, anti-theft system for public safety and monitoring systems work independently have certain limitations shortcomings, the use of C + + integrated development language, combined with advanced face recognition algorithms take advantage of object-oriented design approach, to develop a more complete functional higher recognition rate for face recognition security monitoring system, and gives the architecture, software design of the system. The main results are as follows.1. Illustrates the research background and significance of the subject, while the current research done embracing analyzed and summarized, given the demand for face recognition based on the analysis of public safety monitoring system, functional structure and system workflow.2. Studied based on facial features wavelet transform lifted wavelet features popular Adaboost algorithm is applied onto the face of choice for the extraction of identifying the most favorable characteristics, and finally through the realization of this feature discriminant analysis recognition, face recognition method is proposed.3. Discusses the details of the security monitoring system to achieve recognition, such as database design, the registration process, the control circuit design problems and so on. Finally, the proposed algorithm is based on the previous chapters and design framework, given a face security monitoring system access control, time and attendance, monitoring, and system interface design three typical applications of the prototype system.
