In the traditional network environment,network is simply designed to forwarding data packets.However,with the rapid development of IP network technology,the network sacle is continually expanding,the business carried by the network also continues to expand and show a more complex trend.The rapid growth of the bussiness has brought a series of problems for the normal operation of the network.In the face of complex web applications,pepople have a higher demand for efficiency and stability of network environment.OSPF is an Interior Gateway Protocol(IGP) in an Autonomous System(AS) based on Link State.The basic ideas of the protocol are as follows:each router running OSPF in an Autonomous System collect the link state information(in LSA form) of other routers and flood these information to specific areas by kinds of packets.In this way,the entire AS internal maintenance a synchronous link state datebase(LSDB).According to LSDB,each router run the shortest path algorithm with itself as root to calculate the shortest path tree to calculate the best route to the destination.It has the features of wide range adapting,fast convergence speed,no loops and supporting of hierarchical routing and so on.Multi-topology routing is an intelligent routing paradigm proposed in recent years.Compared to the destination-base routing paradigm and policy-based routing paradigm,multi- topology routing dynamically select routing path based on th type of traffic.Its biggest feature is the ability to separate the different traffic,making them in different topologies independent routing and forwarding based on the network structure of the topology.It does not change the original network physical topology,but divided into multiple logical topology in the origina l physical topology.This can give some traffic which has a sensitive quality to links special network channel.Each business routing and elect path independently,and prevent excessive network traffic impact on some businesses.This paper first introduces the basic concepts of OSPF,each module the protocol operation and protocol implementation details and main data structure.And then focus on the description of expansion of OSPF protocol to support the MTR characteristics in message structure,system structure and the main data structure and the design of main protocol moudle supporting the MTR feature.Finally, we run a simple network supporting MTR to check the correctness of the design.
