With the coming of low-carbon economy, "green communication" become the new target of communication industry. Heterogeneous network received extensive concern and attention because of its network deployment flexibility, in the scheme of green communication. All kinds of small base station in the heterogeneous network can service users in a shorter distance, reduce the path loss in the process of communication.Femto AP is not only a kind of small base station with low power and low cost which could be deployment as users’ demand in the indoor, but also an extensible, multi-channel and two-way communication equipment. The low power station can solve the problem of indoor coverage efficiently, furthermore achieve high speed on data transmission. Without deploying macro base station, the operator can expand signal coverage in the cheapest way, at the same time the indoor user can receive exclusive high quality of mobile communication service. There are a lot of advantage of Femto AP, however it arouses the across layer interference to Macrocell users. Moreover, macro base station is the fundamental of radio network, to protect the macro user’s quality of service is important, in the perspective of this point, the paper has researched the power control schedule and energy efficiency on Femtocell.Firstly, we introduce the evolution of LTE-A standard and the background of Femtocell technology briefly. After study a large number of relevant literature, we analyzes the technical advantages and application value of Femto AP. According to the 3 GPP standards, we have studied the frame of Femtocell and key technology of Femto AP.Secondly, from the perspective of Femtocell interference management, we have researched the effect of deployment Femtocell in cellular networks. Macrocell-Femtocell two tire layer network interference model is established, and the interference of several common scenarios are put forward. The crossing layer interference caused by Femto AP would degrade macro user’s quality of service. In order to solve this problem, this paper suggests a power update scheme to reduce the Femto APs’ transmission power which cause the interference. Combined with game theory, we propose a rapid convergence of the improved power control scheme, to ensure that the macro users make a reliable communication.Finally, we have analyzed the energy consumption and spectrum efficiency in the perspective of Macrocell and Femtocell network. Firstly, we have established two tire layer network system model, the channel model and the energy consumption model. Then we have simulated the capacity and energy efficiency of two tire layer network based on the algorithm of power control scheme which put forward in the fourth chapter. The simulation results show that the power control scheme can efficiently improve the two tire layer network system energy efficiency within a certain number of Femtocell.
