There are a lot of businesses to be achieved and completed based on packets-communication in the actual applying environment of financial IT system. Of course,the communication protocols and packets format are varies from system to system. For example, the Bill-Received system of Union Pay is using ISO8583 and TCP and the Second generation of Payment-Platform is using XML and MQ. At the moment, a very high proportion of applications based on packets-communication is growing of the business-application that need to be tested in software testing department of bank, securities,insurance, and any other financial institutions. For so many business system that based on packets, the testing pressure is very high due to a lot of testing-cases with multiple rounds of circulation and repeating.In this paper, Auto-FPTS, a Testing Simulator based on Financial packets, which is designed and implemented by researching the financial testing system and combing the current situation of the application of the testing of financial system around the domestic and world. A B/S architecture and a MVC design-mode are adopted, the main work of this paper is as follow.First of all, the background and significance of this paper are introduced. the current situation of software testing automatic and packets testing around the domestic and world is analyzed. Then a briefly introduction of the key technologies used in this system is given,and the characteristic and architecture of Java platform are researched and analyzed. A detail introduction of GWT and Hibernate etc, especially for ISO8583 and TCP/IP is described.The Auto-FPTS system requirements is analyzed and the business scenario of this system is described. A summary of the profile design of this system is described according to the software requirements of this paper. Then an introduction of the system architecture, WEB GUI, core module, channel module and the summary of the profile design and selected of the data layer is given. A variety of commonly used database is compared.The Auto-FPTS system is designed in detail by implementing the all functions of the WEB GUI, core module and channel module. The WEB GUI is designed. A detail design about the detail design of the packing and unpacking of the core module, transaction recognizing, the implementation of system dynamic parameter is given and the corresponding code is also given. In addition, a introduction and implementation of the channel module,system-monitoring and data access layer is given.At the end of this paper, in accordance with requirements of the system design, the system is tested and a real test case is showed. All of the function of this system performs good when applied this system in real environment in the bank to do a joint debugging. The benefit gained by using simulator is far higher than the by using manual testing, the simulator can be a good solution to the financial packets testing.
