Travel is an indispensable part of life. In recent years, with the sustained economic growth of China, the living standard of people is increasing day by day, which makes a sharp increase in the number of city vehicles. Many cities have su?ered serious tra?c jams,which has a?ected the quality of life. In addition, the occurrences of natural disasters, such as earthquakes or torrential rains, often cause di?erent degrees of damage to the road network, which makes the barriers to normal rescue. However, because of the huge investments in transportation construction projects and money back slowly, it is di?cult to reconstruct existing roads.First, based on the background described above, this paper fully analyzes the practical significance to develop a dynamic road network monitoring and route recommendation system. Next, this paper introduces the technology of data storage and Android which develops this system, makes demand analysis and system modeling. Then, there is a detailed introduction to the system from the di?erent aspects of data access, storage, processing and applications. Finally, this paper shows the system interfaces, introduces the implementation of the core functions and the results of system test.Dynamic road network monitoring and route recommendation system makes full use of the current vehicle driving on road network to analyze real-time tra?c. Base on it, the system provides the service of real-time tra?c map and navigation. Considering the popularity of Android smart phones, as well as the convenience of mobile APPs, the system uses the Android development technology. In addition, due to the high real-time requirement, the system uses Redis database, which is memory-based and can also be persistent. Meanwhile,in order to get the track as real as possible, this paper adds the frequency of each road to A*algorithm.The implementation of dynamic road network monitoring and route recommendation system makes it possible to allocate vehicles reasonable, so as to improve the tra?c capacity of road network, to reduce the occurrences of accidents and congestions, to optimize the organization and management of transportation network. Furthermore, this system also plays a very important role in a fine mingling of urban transportation resources after a disaster. At the same time, navigation service based on real-time tra?c makes the life more intelligent.What’s more, road network data and road condition data analysis from this system can also be used by other applications.
