Headset is a necessary audio terminal for picking up and replaying the speech in the military wireless and wire communication system. It used in the environments which exist all kinds of noises, noise could reduce the intelligibility, thus having some effects on the communication among personnel. So how to improve the communication quality of headset in noisy environments, and enhance the intelligibility is an important issue being solved.In the recent years, bone-conduction headset is widely used in military domain. In this study, bone-conduction headset is selected as the goal and the reason of impact communication quality is analyzed. In the aspect of transmitting, based on adaptive filtering theory, process the transmitting signal with the least mean square algorithm(LMS); and enhance the intelligibility by increasing the transmitting S/N. In the aspect of receiving, based on auditory temporal mechanism, transform the audio-frequency signal to high-frequency amplitude-modulated signal and then receive it, enhance communication intelligibility by promote high frequency of signal.The comparison test for adaptive-filtering effects of transmitting signal and effects of receiving signal processing also have been made respectively; in white and pink noisy conditions, communication intelligibility has been enhanced.
