With the continuous development of the industrial machine vision detection technology, varieties of vision technologies have successive become the preferred technique of the detection part in the industrial production, which led to the requirement of industrial disk detection becoming more stringent. Now the widely used detection scheme is the binocular stereo vision detection whose efficiency is higher, but the two-dimensional visual inspection technology is better than three-dimensional visual inspection technology in detection accuracy and calculation. So for the special three-dimensional parameter of disk waiting for detecting, it is meaningful for industrial disk detection to design a size detection system which can realize the measurement of three-dimensional parameter detection by the measurement of two-dimensional parameter.Based on the demand of volume size parameter detection for industrial micro disk,this article design and realize a three-dimensional parameter detection system for a kind of rule disk. With the study of the camera calibration model, this article use the RAC two-step calibration method to execute single calibration for two camera, in order to determine the conversion relationship between the pixel coordinates and the real-world coordinates. The image processing section includes image filter processing, image edge detection processing and image size measurement. With the study of varieties of removing noise method, and based on the noise interference comes from the detection environment of the disk waiting for detection, this article provide a hybrid filtering method for the rule disk image of this article and realize the better filtering effect. In the image edge detection module, this article analyzes and compares several classic image edge detection algorithm and select the appropriate image edge detection algorithm for the disk image of the is article, finally the algorithm realize the purpose of obtaining feature information. As the most important section of the detection system——size measurement section, after studying the rules shape detection of Hough transform, this article designed and implemented the size measurement function of disk upper surface radius, the tilt angle between upper surface and side, size thickness and disk volume. At last, this article realize the three-dimensional size detection system for the rule disk, and carry out appropriate repeatability experiment data analysis for the system stability anddetection efficiency.Finally, with the repeatability experiment data analysis of measurement result, we can know that this article’s disk size detection system can better accomplish millimeter grade cylindrical disk’s detection work. In this system, two-dimensional size parameter average detection precision is 7mm(including upper surface radius and side thickness),volume size parameter average detection precision is 0.007mm3, and the system average detection time is 41 ms.
