With the population of Taobao and the prevailence of machine vision,virtual fitting system is promoted rapidly. As an emerging industry, virtual fitting has become research center of numerous domestic and foreign scholars and a hot spot of businessmen. Virtual fitting system has three challenges including first, the establishment of human body model library, which three-dimensional reconstruction method has been used, second one is now the biggest difficult problem focus on establishing flexible garments model library and the third one is collision of human model and clothing model,namely the fitting process. Aiming at solving these difficult issues, we mainly do the following works:The first part is the description of triangulation principle, the three coordinates in binocular vision, introduction of the software and hardware of xjtuom three-dimensional3 D surface scanner platform, the presentation of eight-step calibration and platform building of virtual which could be tried to obtain 49 pictures with different angles and height forgetting the initial point cloud images.The second part describes the standards of point cloud pretreatment including accuracy, briefness and speed. Meanwhile the common point clouds and appropriate simplification algorithms has been described. Finally, based on the special nature of human point cloud data, composite sampling method has been adopted in this article, which with no need for calculation of curvature information and is relatively simple. The model is divided into 1000 human body layer and the 1,032,494 point cloud is reduced to 148,565 in this experiment.In the third part, the surface models reconstruction method such as Bezier, B-spline and NURBS and mesh reconstruction method such as zero set method, a-shape, etc, have been compared. The complicated process of pre-specified parameters, calculating the distance function and extraction of zero surfaces is not needed in Crust algorithm. As long as the original point clouds are met to certain conditions, it must be able to generate the mesh topologically equivalent to the original mesh. To achieve triangulation and surface reconstruction of huge point cloud of complex free-form human body, and achieve360-degree reconstruction human model, Crust algorithm is adopted in this paper.Finally, we introduce virtual fitting which based on Maya and the major is the extraction of model skeleton and the process of virtual fitting animation.
