Non-photorealistic rendering technology is a hot field of computer graphics, which is more concerned about the graphics rendering of personalized, artistic and abstract compared with photorealistic rendering and strengthen important information, ignoring non-critical information. Cartoon rendering, as a research hotspot in non-photorealistic rendering,which have a wide range of use in education, instant messaging and other fields.For the above reasons, the research main discussed about two-dimensional color images of cartoon-style rendering,and design an efficient cartoon style rendering algorithms which can be used for information transfer after the two-dimensional color images been entered into a stylized cartoon image with a digital image.First, this paper introduces the background and significance of digital image stylized drawing and outlined of the main issues that need to be addressed. On this basis, we have established basic ideas and model about digital images of stylized drawing cartoon rendering color images. Specific contents include:1.In terms of image smoothing process, we carried out linear smoothing algorithm in the simulation experiments. The results show the effect of de-noising smoothing and sharpening operations.2.To highlight the image edge information, this paper proposed color vector space model based on regional growth and division on the basis of a comprehensive commonly used color image segmentation technology and to give a specific algorithm steps. Based on this segmentation method, and further gives a new edge detection algorithm. Through simulation experiments, find that the new edge detection algorithm is more effective than Roberts edge detection algorithm and Sobel edge detection algorithm.3.Compared to the scan line fill algorithm and seed fill algorithm, this paper presents a new regional filling algorithm. The main idea is that through filling the period of the mean edge detection of an image smoother the image area since the definition of edge detection.Finally, we carried out system integration. The system gives a solution of digital image stylized drawing through using correlation algorithm and some of the previously mentioned methods. After comparing the experimental observation, the algorithm discussed in this paper is effectively available and achieved digital image cartoon style rendering. After a simple image can be transformed to a richer content and form spread through instant messaging is an important complement to the cartoon-style rendering technology research and application of theory.
