Today the data is explosive growing. It is necessary to study and design a multi service system that contains audio, video, pictures and kinds of sensing data. The information technology contains three parts: the server end, transmission network, the user end. The data source contains wireless sensing data, fiber grating sensing data and the Video on Demand based on Internet Protocol. Fiber optic sensors have advantages of high temperature resistance, anti-electromagnetic interference, corrosion resistance, high sensitivity, etc. So fiber optic sensors apply to the monitoring of harsh environments of insulation, underwater, etic, which make up for defects of traditional electrical sensors. Many kinds of different requirements of sensing works can be solved with the combination of wireless electrical sensors. The transmission network layer uses the structure of WDM-PON to transport large capacity of data. Different data modulated on the optic wave that have different wavelength.In this paper, the FBG sensor and ZigBee node that connect with ordinary electrical sensor as the information system’s sensing end. The ZigBee nodes can be powered by batteries, the end node transmits the wireless sensing data by air wire, and the coordinate node receives the sensing signal by air wire too. The coordinate node connects with ONU by Ethernet port, it began to enter transmission network. At the local end of WDM-PON, the C block light wave which contains fiber optic sensing signal enter FBGA, the wave which contains wireless sensing signal up into the OLT. The FBGA and OLT can connect Data server directly, Web server connect Data server to read the sensing data and video stream. Similarly, the multimedia service based on the WDM-PON to communicate between VOD server and user device. The client end can visit Web server to browse the data information through Internet.The main work of this paper are as follows:Introduce the Information Fusion System, wireless sensing technology of ZigBee, technology of fiber optic sensing, theory of FBGA, technology of WDM-PON, VOD technology based on Streaming21 and B/S structure. Design a multi service information fusion system based on the WDM-PON.Wireless sensing data and fiber optic sensing data and the multimedia data transport over the WDM-PON network. At server end, these two kinds sensing data stored in the same Data Server. The wireless sensing data and fiber optic sensing data and VOD service show to client on web page.
