Radio frequency identification technology (RFID) is a kind of contactless automatic recognition technology which recognizes target devices and receives or updates data through sending and receipting radio frequency signal. RFID supports fast access, non-visually recognition, mobile recognition, multi-targets recognition, location and long term tracking management.RFID has quite wide application, typically in fields such as logistics activity management, supermarket goods management, entrance ticket and access control management, electronic license plate, transportation tracking, automated production line and so on. However, there are a plenty variety of RFID protocols employing different standards and modes nowadays. Different RFID protocols applicable to different communication ranges use different modulation and coding schemes. In addition, the test conditions are various. Traditional test devices can’t set up analysis and test work sufficiently. Current domestic test systems are mostly purchased abroad, which are unable to meet the testing demand of all kinds of applications.National special scientific instruments developing project "high-performance microwave spectrum analysis instrument research and application development" is raised for making up the domestic gap of high level of integration tester. This work derives from the sub-project "research of multi-protocol integrated test and analysis technology", which aims to obtain the RFID signal test and analysis software.This article analyses the RFID signal which acquired from device NI Pxle-1062Q, and studies the protocol ISO/IEC 14443, which covers Type A and Type B, and completes the test and analysis software based on protocol ISO/IEC 14443. The software is designed to carry out the consistence test between the reader and the tag in the progress of communication, test all kinds of parameters in both the time and frequency domain, analyze the commands to confirm the validation, and test the reader and tag to find out if they comply with the local standards.The consistent test of RFID protocol including not only the test of reader and tag, but also the test of the timing in the communication process between the reader and tag. Firstly, the signal from the reader and tag are distinguished from each other based on cross-correlation and STFT. Then, demodulation and decoding, including ASK/BPSK/ Manchester decoding, are performed on the detached signals. Subsequently, the commands are analyzed to confirm that the signal conform to the standard. Lastly, the reader and tag are tested for the time specification.The modulation analysis of the RFID are carried out respectively on the reader and tag signal. The modulation parameters needed analysis including modulation depth, modulation index, pulse width, raising time and falling time and so on. The spectral parameters needed analysis including frequency deviation,3dB band width,99% band width, carrier tolerance, transmit power and so on. Based on the analysis of the parameters, we can find out whether the RFID signal complies with the protocol. Lastly, the graphic results of testing and analyzing are displayed by the UI appearance.
