The topic of this article is about studying and designing of a high-precision counting machine’s control system. Nowadays, with the development of science and technology, counting machine is more and more widely used in automated production lines of the pharmaceutical industry, which has a huge market prospects. At the present stage, the counting machines overseas are of high precision, high efficiency and high stability, but the price is so expensive that many small and medium pharmaceutical companies can’t afford it. However the study of domestic counting machine starts late, the technology is relatively immature. It’s difficult to meet the requirements in accuracy and efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to design a high-precision, high-efficiency and high-stability control system for a few grains of small and medium pharmaceutical companies.In the paper, according to the system’s requirement, the first is to complete the requirements document. And then it’s to make an overall design for the system and give the whole scheme of realizing the system request which includes hardware part and software part.According to the analysis of the system’s functional requirements, the hardware part of counting machine’s control system is divided into six functional modules: micro-controller minimum system module, photoelectric detection module, solenoid valve driver module, sensor module, human-computer interaction module and power supply module. Micro-controller selects ARM chip. The micro-controller minimum system is the core of the whole hardware structure. All functions can’t be realized if there is no communication between the core module and the other modules. Photoelectric detection module can complete the work for testing when drug drops down in each channel. Solenoid valve driver module needs to receive the signal of micro-controller minimum system module, and the signal is used to control the solenoid valve’s opening and closing on the sixteen pills down channels and on the conveyor belt used to decant the bottle. Human-computer interaction module is used to achieve a friendly human-computer interaction. Set the parameters of counting machine control system on the touch screen and display the information during the operation of the system in real time. Power supply module is used to provide electricity for the whole system.Software designing includes the core control system software and HMI software. The core control system software is to realize to parting modules, including the main program, the testing program of photoelectric detection module and the control program of the solenoid valve module. HMI software is mainly to design the control interface of touch screen based on the requirements of the system, button to control the starting and stopping of the system, the input text box to set the parameters of the system, and the output text box to display a variety of information of systems currently running.In this paper, considering domestic and international development status of counting machine, according to the actual needs of the domestic small and medium pharmaceutical company, It’s to design a counting machine control system of high precision, high efficiency and high stability to facilitate small and medium pharmaceutical companies.
