RFID (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID) is an automatic identification technology. It communicates data in a wireless channel, which is derived from radar technology. In the recent years, with the rapid development of the technology, the RFID is widely applied in the IOT, especially for UHF RFID. Therefore, this paper focuses on the UHF RFID to study. At first, this paper introduces the research and application background of UHF RFID system, international standards and antenna field area. On the basis of the above, this paper analyzes the architecture of UHF RFID systems, principles and energy sensing mode of identification tag. Then on the basis of ISO/IEC18000-6C, the system coding, modulation and demodulation in the forward link and backward link is simulated with MATALB.Finally, three kinds of the multi-tag anti-collision algorithm are studied. It is found that the performance of the series of ALOHA algorithm is related to the accuracy of the identification tag number estimated because this estimating value is used to set the length of the frame. The performance of the several binary tree algorithms are compared by studying the data throughput, transmission of data traffic and the number of queries. Then several hybrid algorithms are introduced briefly. According to the above, an improvement algorithm is proposed, which is combined with power control group and leaping dynamic binary tree algorithm. Then it is to avoid huge collision rate caused by the large tag number by using the leaping dynamic binary algorithm to identify each group labels and the reader putting the tags into different groups through controlling the transmitted power. By comparing with the existing binary algorithm, the data throughput, query times, data traffic of the new algorithm have obvious advantages.
