At present, the emissions-cutting situation of international greenhouse gas which our national shipping industry faces is very serious. In order to realize a major goal of building "safe transportation, efficient transportation, green transportation, harmonious transportation" and solve the need of marine energy-saving and improving speed and efficiency, the state launches a High-tech Research and Development Projects (863 Program)-"A Control Technology Research of Hybrid Low Carbon about Large Ocean Going Vessel-Wing Diesel Engine wing diesel" and the design of wing control system is one of its key technologies.According to the 5000t bulk-cargo carrier"Peng-Long", the force analysis of wing is carried out and the wind tunnel data of wing model is handled, thereby the coefficient of lift-to-drag and wind resistant moment at different attack angle are work out and the best curve of operating wing is fit out. Then the aerodynamic performance of wing is analyzed to determine critical stalling angle, wing aerodynamic critical and scope of operating wing which are related to wing control decision.On request of wing contol, single wing control system is designed. To ensure that the hydraulic system can work stably, the research of wing rotating uses the way of nolinear control in which the constraint condition is that the output is sine curve.With regard to experimental platform of wing rotation, the monitoring control system of upper computer based on PC and the wing control sytem of lower computer based on EPEC 2038 is designed. Using CANopen bus, the data communication between the upper system and the lower sytem is established. Besides, through the design of human-computer interface, some functions are fulfilled such as drawing trend curve, data display, data storage, theoretical calculation, and so on.The experiment result indicates that these systems can control the wing turn to the best angle quickly, exactly and constantly. They have simulated the rotating state and meet of real wing basically and meet the requirements of wind auxiliary navigation research.
