With the rapid development of economy, the problem of the shortage of resources and environmental pollution have become increasingly serious. At the same time, along with the rapid growth of population and the accelerating process of city, the production of city life garbage in China increased year by year. It not only causes serious environmental pollution, but also affects the development of social economy. How to quickly and effectively deal with city life waste, and to realize the sustainable development of the city and recycling of resources, has become a worldwide research topic.The thesis designs optimization model of the location problem of waste transfer station and treatment station in the certain environment and random environment. The it uses evolutionary algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the two models respectively. And it gets the pareto-optimal solutions of the model eventually. Considering the diversity of system target, the thesis through the idea of the problem statement, the establishment of mathematical model, the given solution algorithm and the example analysis, it researched the location model of waste transfer station and treatment station in the certain environment and random environment. Firstly, the thesis introduces the background and significance of research, research status of waste location problems. Secondly, it describes the definition of waste location problems, influencing factors and solving algorithm. And it describes the basic principles of the evolutionary algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm. On this basis, it establishes optimization model of double objective to the minimum total cost and environmental negative effect of minimum as the target location in the uncertain environment. According to the characteristics of the model, it designs the evolutionary algorithm and through the examples to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm. Finally, it considering waste transfer station and treatment station location problem in the random environment, a multi-objective optimization model is built with the minimum fixed cost at least, change the lowest cost and environmental negative effect to the target.According to the characteristics of the model,the thesis designs particle swarm optimization algorithm. It uses Matlab software to solve the example and shows the feasibility and effectiveness of the model and algorithm.Finally, the thesis summarizes the full text comprehensively and systematically.And it puts forward the following research which need to be strengthened and improved.
