In daily life, food producers and restaurant operators are truly record the taste of life through food and extended this attitude to their culture and behavior. This imply that People, food and environment are essentially important to each other and inseparable.The purpose of this thesis is to find out how "Bak Kut Teh" impact Klang People’s culture and every day life behavior via historical and collective memory. Face to Face Interview and Survey method also apply in this thesis in order to proof the concept.The content of this thesis will include few core concern.Firstly, the chapter will summarize the background and history of "Bak Kut Teh".Secondly, it will discuss how "Bak Kut Teh" can spread through the nation even to overseas without the power of commercial advertisement and marketing.In this thesis you will find out how the new media environment bring the strong impact to the business of "Bak Kut Teh" and how it diversify the business channel.Through the study, found that "Bak Kut Teh" are mainly spread via the collective memory and "Word of Mount" power. Continue to play an effective role of traditional of "Word of Mouth" tactic, at the same time the emergence of new media and their functional features are enhance the breadth of communication channel, hence, bring the "Bak Kut Teh" culture to another higher level.In conclusion, beside the "Word of Mount" power, Quality and Branding are also the key element for the success story of "Bak Kut Teh" which will elaborate more in detail throughout the thesis.
