With the improvement of energy-saving and people’s living standards requirements, the establishment of smart building control systems for the comfortable and energy-saving indoor environment is a research hotspot. The indoor environment control mode is a multivariate complex system, under the influence of the nonlinear and strong coupling between the variables and other unpredictable factors. So it is very difficult to get the model of the indoor thermal environment for controlling the thermal comfort intelligently. In this paper, the related works, which build up the fuzzy relationship modeling of the thermal environment and thermal comfort control, are completed. The contents of this paper are organized as follows:(1) In this chapter, the research background and significance of the thermal comfort environment modeling and controlling is first of all introduced. The rational thermal comfort measurement is obtained by summarizing the published research results, which is also used for controlling the indoor thermal comfort. Meanwhile, the related research works about the indoor thermal comfort modeling and comfort control are reviewed, and the topic of this paper is also introduced.(2) Collect and process the data in real time aiming to build up the relation model of the thermal environment. Firstly, the indoor environment data is collected in different positions and states with the air conditioning and humidifier working together. And then, the influence of air conditioning and humidifier indoors, the reason of incomplete data, are got via data analysis. Finally, a completed data is obtained based on the improved fuzzy rough set data filling method for the indoor thermal comfort modeling.(3) Establish the fuzzy relation matrix model of the indoor thermal environment within multiple referenced variables. Firstly, the fuzzy relation matrix modeling method is put forward by using left semi-tensor product. And then, get the relation matrix among the given temperature, the wind speed of air conditioning, the humidifier given value, the indoor temperature and humidity. Finally, the way to establish a perfect indoor fuzzy relation matrix model is got through analyzing the differences between the predicted data of proposed method and the real data.(4) The indoor control system is studied on the basis of the indoor thermal environment model which is established in the previous chapter. First of all, get the temperature and humidity distribution of the comfort environment based on the thermal comfort standard. And then, estimate the best setting value of the temperature, humidity and wind speed based on the fuzzy relation matrix of the indoor thermal environment. Finally, control the temperature and wind speed of the air conditioning approaching to the set value by using PI (Proportion Integration) controller.
