Synthetic ammonia industry, born at the turn of the century, the scale of which was turn to large scale direction. German chemist Hubble proposed industrial ammonia synthesis method in 1909, namely "circulation method", which is the direct synthesis method generally used in industry. Synthetic ammonia reaction is as follows: N2+3H2≈2NH3.the main raw material of synthetic ammonia can be divided into solid materials, liquid materials and gas raw materials. During the past hundred years of development, ammonia technology have become mature and formed a large number of technological process which have their own characteristics, and is consisted of three basic parts, the feed gas preparation, purification process and ammonia synthesis process.The passage introduced the synthetic ammonia gasification section for steam regulating specific transformation method, which consisted of the steam regulating valve, the method of forming a complete set of hydraulic equipment and application of DCS system improvemen and so on. Through the optimization technique, making the gas stove furnace condition more stable, reducing the steam consumption, increasging the effective gas time and improving the effective gas composition, water gas could, in turn,makes the gas production rate of single furnace positive and reduce the cost.The basic principle of carbon monoxide conversion, process conditions and process parameters and selection of shift catalys was detailed introduced. Calculated experiment,which have improved the selection of the catalyst in the process of production in the workshop, reduced the energy consumption and increased the efficiency.The introduce of the ammonia synthesis production process, mainly through the study of this process to determine the main equipment selection, and choose more reasonable catalyst to increase the supporting self regulating valve adjustment, and optimize control algorithm to improve the synthetic process of production efficiency.
