Human motion analysis and recognition is the most important part of pattern recognition, it can greatly improve the research and development in the field of machine body evaluation of bionic engineering, medical testing, and sports competition. The data of human motion recognition mainly come from video data and inertial data. But equipment which acquire video data is expensive and complex. At the same time, the data accuracy and comprehensiveness will decline because of the factors such as spot light, moving object obscured in the process of data collection. With the popularity of inertial sensor and the development of wireless communication technology, the research of human motion analysis and recognition based on the inertial sensor become a hotspot.This paper designs a human limb movement information acquisition system, which samples inertial human motion data. This system consists of data acquisition nodes and data receiving gateway. On the design of hardware circuits, we select ARM processor STM32 as main chip. We design the hardware circuits of data acquisition nodes combined with external Flash, acceleration sensor, angular velocity sensor, wireless chip. We design the hardwire circuit of data receiving gateway combined with wireless chip, Ethernet control chip, USB conversion chip. On the design of software, based on ARM processor STM32, AD conversion, DMA, timer, UART serial port and SPI module, we write and debug the program of three working modes. They are real-time USB data communication, non-real-time USB data communication and non-real-time Ethernet data communication. Mainly related internal functional modules include data acquisition, reading and writing Flash, wireless data communication, USB data communication and Ethernet data communication. Through the debugging of the system, it can realize a series of functions such as triaxial acceleration and angular velocity data real-time acquisition, local storage, wireless transmission of the data acquisition nodes and data dump, command transmission of the data reception gateway.In system testing and applications, this paper designs three experiments. Single node system testing and calibration experiment verify the availability of basic function and proofread sensor output data. Daily actions sampling contrast test verity that the system is practical. Badminton movement experiment verity that the system can be used in the algorithm field.
