For pseudo derivative feedback (PDF) control strategy has a better Robustness and anti-load disturbance ability than PID strategy, it is researched and used in many high control quality area. However, the system load is variable and unpredictable in some high control quality systems, it is necessary to further improve the anti-load disturbance ability of PDF strategy control system. In order to implement this purpose, a reduced-order load torque observer is designed and embedded into the PDF control system. Besides, a method to get the parameters of PDF controller based on system parameter identification is found to complete the self-tuning of PDF controller.To verify the anti-load disturbance ability and self-tuning ability of the new PDF controller that we designed, firstly, a Simulink model is built to theoretical prove it. Then, the new PDF controller is used into an antenna servo control system to further verify its practical application result. Hardware and software system are designed and made. Depend on both of simulation result and practical application result, the anti-load disturbance and self-tuning PDF strategy control system designed in this paper implements the self-tuning of PDF controller and it improves the anti-load disturbance ability of PDF strategy control system.
