Motion control technology plays a more and more important role in the process of industrial production. In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology, power electronic technology and automatic control theory, and more and more high requirements on SMT in the process of industrial application, motion control technology also develops to the direction of high speed and openness, and high positioning accuracy constantly. So open motion control technology will be the ideal choice for rapid and high precision motion control system.The X/Y axis speed and high precision motion control system based on PC machine is mainly introduced. The yaskawa company MP2300 motion controller as the core processor is selected in the system, through making full use of the calculation of the motion controller, makes the placement machine achieve a rapid and high precision under the premise of meeting the stability requirement in the X, Y axis motion control. At the same time, the motion controller can realize the encoder signal processing function, and through the bus receives control commands from the PC computer to complete the signal axis and two axis linkage control. Good control scheme is the prerequisite of realizing advanced control technology, control technology represented by neural networks, because of its self-learning and adaptive ability good, they can carry out real-time correction of the process control parameters according to changes in the external environment, to improve the performance of the control system further.The placement machine X, Y axis motion control system hardware architecture and software algorithm of writing tasks is completed, at the same time achieved the design of the hardware architecture and software algorithm and the master control program in detail. The design of encoder signal processing circuit, power circuit as well as the extension of RAM circuit is finished on hardware, the transfer function is set up according to the working principle of the servo motor servo motor control mode on control algorithm, and the transfer function of the single-chip microcomputer single joint shaft position controller model is established. To deal with the traditional PID controller parameters tuning difficult issues, proposes a new type of PID control method based on BP neural network, it has the merits of both neural BP network and PID controller. The MATLAB simulation tools is used to simulate the SMT X axis position control. The results show that the combination of BP neural network PID control algorithm, the static error reduced 0.15mm and positioning time reduced 0.6ms than traditional PID control, improve steady state error and the dynamic performance of the system. Finally, The SMT X, Y axis motion control system by use of friendly interactive interface of MFC is written, which can easily add a new control algorithm to realize the different control requirement for the control system.
