Industrial CT (ICT) is a kind of non-destructive technology which is used to collect the attenuation information from different angles of the ray and reconstruct the whole structure. ICT consists of four parts:X ray source system, mechanical scanning motion control system, detector system and computer system. The precise control of the mechanical scanning motion control system has important influence on the quality of the reconstructed image. We build a four axis motion control platform based on the microcomputer in this paper, EMAC-200 four axis motion controller, servo drive and motor also prepared the system control interface, to achieve the real-time control of the object. The experimental results show that the positioning error of the motion control platform keep within a certain range, and achieve precise control.Image reconstruction plays an important role in the ICT.In this paper, based on the iterative method, simulates the different movement axis positioning error on the quality of the reconstructed image. Results show that in the process of horizontal motion of the platform position error which have little impact on the reconstruction image In the lifting process, we should be calibrated in the program when the positioning error of the platform motion over a certain range; With the increase of the positioning error in the rotation process, the reconstructed image quality is getting worse. The beam hardening has an important effect on image reconstruction in ICT. We use the way of curve fitting to correct the beam hardening in this paper, the results show that the image quality can be improved.
