As science and technology popularize in people’s daily lives, data analysis and guidance methods of the infant growth and development are beginning to attract people’s attention. According to statistics, the majority of parents rarely measure the height and weight of the baby and observe the baby’s various behaviors regularly during the period of raising the baby, so that various problems come out in infant growth. For example, when a child is born, height and weight are normal. But the baby becomes a fat baby later and the parents do not know when the dysplasia begin to emerge. The vast majority of parents know about their childcare problems only after the child is very obvious abnormal. Even though some parents remember to measure these data, they can not properly evaluate their child’s development status by analyzing these data because of the lack of normal infant development indicators for comparison. The normal infant development indicators can tell parents the changes in the process of the infant development and what level their children are compared with other children. So, we have developed a system based on data analysis of the baby which is named "SmartBaby".The system’s main function is that through recording and uploading the baby development information, including height, weight, heart rate, body temperature and behavioral characteristics, the server will analyze these data and generate the reports of baby’s growth and development. Secondly, the system will draw the baby’s development curve and provide a standard curve of normal infant development. The user can clearly get the baby’s development by comparing the two curves. So, the SmartBaby system is based on C/S architecture. The server uses Spring framework and Hibernate framework and the client is based on the Android mobile client which use the bluetooth technology to connect with the smart devices at this stage. Communication mechanisms between client and server is the HTTP protocol.In the thesis, the first part is the introduction of the project background and the overview of parenting research and software home and abroad. In the second part, it introduces the related technology of the project such as Android Framework, Spring Framework, Hibernate Framework, etc. In the third part, according to the functional requirements of the project, the project is divided into modules and analyzed them in detail. In the last part, according to the system’s architecture, it can be divided into two sub-systems. One is the client system and the other is server system. Each of them is divided into several modules based on its framework. This thesis provide the related interface of the system implementation, the code and the parsing for each module.
