In recent years, with the rapid development of medical visualization, digital image processing and artificial intelligence, the computer-assisted oral cavity implantology software has been a hot research at home and abroad. This paper put three-dimensional (3D)visualization technology to planting diagnosis bell, its main research direction is to obtain a two-dimensional image sequences from CT, MRI and other imaging, and then reconstructed the 3D craniofacial through computer, thus accurately determine the missing teeth information and understand the internal structure of the skull before surgery. And then according to interactive manipulation and analysis, make a reasonable science treatment plan for the patients, avoiding serious consequences caused by the slightest mistake.In this context, this paper mainly take the orientation of the oral implants for the research object, In order to improve the success rate of planting operation as the research target.For dental maxillofacial three-dimensional reconstruction, interactive picking implant coordinates, intelligent at the same time interactive operations, to improve the accuracy and humane of the positioning. Among them, the main research of this paper are as follows:First, the visual development tools VTK framing system was introduced, combined with the development of medical visualization process. Analyzing the characteristics of volume data, calling VTK library, the acquisition of volume data were completed.Second, maxillofacial reconstruction process, combined with visualization tools, conducts a three-dimensional reconstruction for the DICOM format dentofacial under the condition of Marching Cubes algorithm based on three-dimensional volume rendering and three-dimensional surfaces Ray-Casting algorithm respectively. Also virtual cutting for internal planting area, clear orthogonal plane, coronal, cross-sectional images presented.Third, analyze the three-dimensional interactive technology in the maxillofacial implant positioning module, realize the change from two-dimensional information to three-dimensional information, emphases on the principles of coordinates used needle puncturing for points and its implementation, so that the implant positioning point can be obtained by mouse in practical applications, measure the implant length based on the intelligent positioning, the settings of analytical parameter have been modified to a humanity and the accuracy positioning effect.Related functionality design and implementation of the implantation navigation system have been carried out on software development platform in this paper, thought and interface design of each functional module made detailed elaboration, making the whole system porbility,modularity and so on,to facilitate the later further research and development.
