With the advent and development of laser, laser machining technology has been gotten more and more attention and research. Due to narrow pulse width, high peak power, good laser coherence and high repetition frequency, nanosecond, picoseconds and femtosecond pulse lasers have been widely used in micro machining field, such as MEMS devices, surface modification, etc.Laser induced forward transfer (LIFT) is a kind of laser micromachining technology developed in recent years. It has many advantages, such as fast, flexible, adaptable, green. high precision, low cost and so on. The results of this research are mainly about the following aspects of LIFT Technology:1. The single pulse laser transfer SiC were carried out a series of studies. With the increase of laser energy and silicon carbide particles distribution area increase; The particle dispersion effect of 1064nm wavelength is better than that of 532nm wavelength. Laser energy increased, the particle size distribution of morphology change; from the focal distance increased, the particle size distribution range, receiving distance is greater, target above the particle distribution of more dispersed. Orthogonal experiments showed that the receive distance is on particle area ratio affects the parameters that have the largest.2.The fabrication of single track structure and large area coating under 1064nm laser is studied.. By optimizing the process, a continuous silicon carbide micro wire and a relatively uniform silicon carbide coating were fabricated.3. The research of laser induced transfer foil. Morphology of deposited dots showed intermediate granular around sheet, which is by the interaction of laser and the copper foil the copper foil around the molten state of the center part of the solid state distribution caused by. The effect of laser energy on the area of transfer is the maximum, followed by the number of pulses, and the degree of the pulse is the final degree of the laser energy. Although the copper wire is different from copper, it can meet the requirement of wire.
