Most studies on output synchronization of networked dynamic systems are built on the continuous-time systems, but in real it always uses digital communication devices to receive information from other nodes and use digital controller to realize advanced control strategies. Considering such practical demand for the theory study on discrete systems in real application, this paper studies the problem of output synchronization of homogeneous network under sampled control. The major research topics include:(1) Study the existence problem of output synchronization under sampled control. Analyze the feasibility of discretizing the existed control law which is designed for continuous-time systems, and provide the way to determine an appropriate sample period. (2) Transform the sampled feedback error into a controller input with a piecewise-continuous delay, thus the sampled system is converted into a continuous one with time delayed controller input, which could using transmission delayed methods to design the internal model controller. Our study is essential for the theory of output synchronization of networked systems in practical engineering applications, which possesses extremely theoretical significance and broad application prospect. The main content contains the following aspects:1. For sampling output regulation of single system, firstly, a continuous internal model controller is designed to track the given signal; secondly, a variable substitution by solving the Sylvester equation is adopted to convert the sampling output regulation to a regulation problem into a stability problem for a regulation error system stability problem; finally get the parameters of internal model controller by solving LMI.2. Based on the above research results for single system, the synthesis problem of output synchronization under sampled control with leader-followers topology is investigated. A sampling synchronous controller though a modified Laplacian matrix is designed, Theoretical proof and simulations are given to show the validity of the proposed algorithm.3. Simulink experiments are conducted on distributed power generation system to verify the effectiveness of our developed theory results. Firstly, the mathematical model of the inverter nodes and the node structure is given; then, using the method for sampling output regulation of single system to control the inverter nodes realizing successively synchronous and connect to grid respectively. Finally, our sampling output synchronization method is used to realize the synchronous tracking for multi-inverter networked system with grid fluctuation.
