Long-range precision strikes is an important topic of modern high-technology warfare.The using of precision-guided weapons can destroy the enemy’s war machine efficiently, avoid additional damage, speed up the process of war and approach to the war effort more moral. High power microwave weapon (HPMW, High Power Microwave Weapon) is an important means to deal with the precision-guided weapons,as the damage effects of high power microwave (HPM, High Power Microwave) on the electronic system can lower the guiding precision of precision guided-weapons’seeker, even lose the guiding functions,then can protect important military objective from strikes of precision-guided weapons. The confrontation between the precision-guided weapons and high power microwave weapons, as the two killers of modern warfare, will make magnificent scenes in the future war. Therefore, the study of attack and defense against them undoubtedly has the important military senses and engineering applications.This paper has analyzed the damage effects, testing and evaluing methods of the signal and information processing system in Barker code pulse doppler (PD, Pulse Doppler) radar seeker from the perspective of system under the high power microwave.The main achievements are as follows:First of all, this paper has discussed the present domestic and foreign development of the High Power Microwave Weapon. It also has analyzed the mechanism of HPM, the operational principle of Barker code PD radar seeker and the anti-HPM damage capability and limitations. In addition to that, in this paper, indicates the potential impact on radar target detection with damage effects of HPM.Secondly, in this paper, it has established signal model and varieties of mathematical models during the processing of signals and information about Barker code PD radar seeker in the case of high power microwave. Beside this, the paper has studied the impact on pulse compression and the pulse Doppler processing of Barker code PD guidance radar with phase noises and amplitude noises under the high power microwave and established the quantitative relationship between the performance index of range resolution, range accuracy, speed resolution, speed accuracy, target energy accumulation,etc and the strength and correlation of amplitude and phase noises through theoretical analysis and computer simulations.Finally, based on Barker code PD guidance radar, the paper, in the case of high power microwave, has researched and proposed the measurements of amplitude and phase noises, the main parameter estimating methods of amplitude and phase noises, and the hypothesis testing methods of amplitude and phase noise power spectral density functions and correlation models.At last,the thesis has used AR(1) computer simulation model to verify the effectiveness of the proposed measurement, estimation and hypothesis testing method.
