Since1980s, wireless communication has developed from the first generation of anolog mobile radio sytem to the fourth generation of Long Term Evolution. It has radically changed how people work and live, driving human society to experience the change from the industrial society to the information society. Currently, with development of both wireless communication network and the Internet, we have stepped into the era of Mobile Internet when the number of smart terminals increases exponently and mobile data traffic skyrockets. As a result, the main challenges that the wireless communication faced are not just transmission rate and spectrum efficiency. It must deal with the restraint of limited energy and the requirement of sustainable development. Therefore, it is urgent to explore ways of improving energy effiency of wireless network in the future. In order to improve energy efficiency of wireless network, several network energy saving technologies have been proposed, such as cell breathing, Coordinated Multiple Points Transmition/Reception, integration of heterogeneous networks, etc. However, when the network is full loaded, to satisfy QoS (Quality of Service) of users, it is still difficult to guarantee both spectrum efficiency and energy efficiency of the network. To fill the blank, this thesis mainly researches technologies that optimize resource management and energy efficiency of full loaded green wireless network.First, we introduce research background of green wireless network and current energy saving technologies at both the network side and terminal side. Then, in order to improve spectrum utilization and energy efficiency in full loaded network, the thesis researches energy efficient resrouce management problem in both Device-to-Device (D2D) assisted and Femtocell assisted single cell network. At the link layer, we have investigated distance control based uplink spectrum scheduling and power control based energy efficiency gain analysis. At the network layer, we have studied two scenarios where D2D users and Femtocells are deployed in the single cell respectively. Stackelberg game and energy efficiency maximization are adopted to solve power control problem in order to satisfy QoS of uers. Based on power control method, we have proposed the energy efficient access scheme based on Hungarian Algorithm. The simulation results demonstrate that the propsed algorithms can improve energy efficiency of wireless network. Finally, we conclude the paper and put forward some open issues which need to be investigated in the future.
