| With the rapid development of mobile communication systems, people’s demand on mobile data rate is also increasing, and the number of concurrent active users is maintaining sustainable growing trend. However, the radio resources are limited after all. Thus, it is essential to use the limited resources efficiently. In the3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) communication system, radio resource allocation techniques by using different resource scheduling algorithm, assign the radio resources of the system to the users who need them to meet the it’s demand, in order to guarantee the minimum data rate and the normal communication process between the user’s.Among the resource allocation techniques, the allocation of the radio resource determines the utilization efficiency of the system resources, and has a great influence on the capacity of the system. This article focused on resource allocation research of LTE and LTE-A system. Current studies of resource allocation algorithm focused on improving throughput and enhancing the user fairness of the system. One solution mainly focuses on the throughput of the system; such scheme is unfair for edge users at the expense of the losing signal quality. The other scheme focuses only on the user fairness without considering the overall throughput of system. The third scheme makes the compromise between the two programs, making throughput optimization on the basis user fairness. Thus, the work on efficiency of radio resources and maximum number of users the system scheduling is still lacking in these three schemes. With considering the basis of user fairness and system throughput conditions, this article proposes a novel scheme to optimize the allocation of resources so as to solve the above resource allocation problems, in order to improve resource utilization efficiency and the maximum number of users scheduling in wireless systems.In this paper, with comparative analysis of the utilization efficiency of resources and the maximum number of scheduling users based proportional fairness(PF) resource allocation algorithm, a novel resource allocation optimization algorithm is proposed through dynamic simulation based on MATLAB platform. The algorithm further improve the resource utilization rate and the number of scheduling users to achieve these two key performance indicators optimization with considering user fairness and user quality of service(QoS). And further, by building software radio platform, the LTE communication system is designed on platform of USRP hardware devices. Through replacing the openair interface of LTE simulation platform before, this work complete the link-level transmission design of LTE system with the implementation and verification of scheduling algorithms. |
