With the popularization and promotion of golf, coaches and student pay more attention to the posture of golf swing. In the process of golf swing analysis, modern digital image processing technology is playing an increasingly important role. In this thesis, the images of golf swing are acquired by binocular camera. Then, with the use of object tracking algorithm which is based on binocular camera, the2D trajectory of swing could be obtained. And3D reconstruction of the swing motion can be achieved with the help of binocular stereo vision. Finally, System display module realizes the integrity of the system by an interface. The dissertation consists of the following contents and result:First of all, the knowledge of object tracking is introduced to state its importance in the golf swing analysis. Then the research situation at home and aboard of object tracking algorithm and golf swing system are outlined.Secondly, this paper analyses the key technology of binocular stereovision and the method of3D reconstruction. And based on Bouguet algorithm, this paper uses Matlab calibration toolbox to get the camera’s internal parameters and external parameters, which lays the foundation for the subsequent3D reconstruction of the golf swing motion. Then, combined with traditional detection and tracking technology, object tracking algorithm was constructed in this paper. According to our tracking target, this paper makes use of P-N learning mechanism to fuse the image information of two perspectives. Then this thesis builds a complete object tracking algorithm which is based on binocular vision. Finally, based on the research and development efforts above, the golf swing system is developed. First of all, through the binocular cameras, the image sequences of two perspectives are acquired. And then, the corresponding2D trajectory of the hand joint is obtained by the tracking algorithm and this paper gets the3D trajectory of golf swing by the use of parallax method. Finally, for the integrity of our system, the result of the experiment is displayed by an interface.
