In the future wireless networks, due to the dense base stations, frequent bursty interference becomes a major challenge to improve quality of experience for applications, expecially for video applications. In order to improve the quality of sevice (QoS) in the wireless telecommunication system and the quality of experience (QoE) for video applications, a novel interference management scheme has been proposed in this paper, to improve the QoE for video applications. The proposed method based on temporal pooling and video frame quality assessment, has developed a novel QoE perception model for video applications, which has improved accuracy and reduced complexity. Then, by combining network parameters and QoE information for various applications, we carried on the dynamic interference shaping strategy to adjust the network, so as to improve the QoE for video applications on the basis of guaranteeing the equality of different applications.Firstly, based on the vidual hysteresis effect, we proposed a novel temporal pooling method. In order to verify the effectiveness of visual hysteresis effect, a subjective experiment has been carried out and a hysteresis model was proposed by analyzing the experiment data. Simulation result shows that in burst traffic environment, the model has a better correlation with HVS effect.Secondly, based on the characteristics of movement and frame concent, we proposed a video frame quality assessment method. And to obtain the accurate video quality, we proposed a new QoE perception model with content-adaptive and hysteresis effect. And it performs well compared with other video quality assessment methods in the busty interference environment. Finally, by analyzing the existing cellular interference traffic, we modeled the cellular interference traffic in the future networks. And, in the scheme, the peak rate of best effort service is decreased by introducing the rate scaling factor (RSF) to improve the QoE for video applications. The interference characteristics of multi-services are investigated and the QoE perception model for best effort applications is presented in the paper. Finally, we develop the utility function and utilize the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to obtain the optimal RSF. Also, experiment results have demonstrated the proposed algorithm significantly improves the QoE for video users as well as the negligible decrease in QoE for best effort users.
