With the continuous development of network technology, from the government, defenseto commercial finance, to various fields, such as people’s daily life and work, using theInternet to transmit information to rely more and more. Internet to bring convenience, butalso brought the issue can not be ignored. Some criminals can also be contacted quicklythrough the network, passing secret information malicious. These information is often hiddenin some of the common media information can not easily be detected. If these hidden secretinformation can not be detected, it will cause a great threat to social stability and people’ssafety. Thus the research on information security technology has been very urgent, andsteganalysis technology,confrontation with information hiding, is a hot and difficult research.As a carrier of information hiding in many forms, often with images, video, audio, andso on. About the image steganalysis, at present mainly concentrated in the gray-scale imagesand color images, for binary image steganalysis algorithm research is less. This paperinspected the basis of binary image steganography and steganalysis algorithm, combined withimage potential energy theory, puts forward a new image steganalysis algorithm based onimage potential energy. The algorithm is compared to other steganalysis scheme, the detectioneffect is improved, steganographic capacity information can be estimated, locate embedlocation information. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. It proposes an overview of the research status of information hiding and binaryimage steganography, explains the evaluation index of steganalysis, analyzes the commonmodel of image steganography, introduces the status of binary image steganalysis, anddiscusses some common steganalysis algorithms.2. It introduces the image potential energy, gives the definition of related concepts ofthe image potential energy, and a detailed explanation. It provides the basis for the applicationin steganalysis.3. Puts forward a new kind of binary image text steganalysis algorithm based on image potential energy theory. The image potential energy and the binary images steganalysiscombining theory is demonstrated. In the binary text image steganalysis experiments, binarytext images contain embedded secret information were detected and analyzed, determinedwhether they contain secret information, estimated the capacity of secret informationsteganography, located the embedding positions of secret information. The experimentalresults verify the effectiveness of the steganalysis algorithm.
