Mobile Ad Hoc Network is a network of a group of mobile modes, with self-organizingcapabilities, the use of a distributed management system that can dynamically adapt tochanges in the environment, so it plays a great advantage in the battlefield, the disaster reliedand other extreme environment. With the continuous expansion of the scope of application ofAd Hoc network, people gradually put different levels of requirements in terms of bandwidth,delay consumption, etc., so for specific business needs, Ad Hoc network not only act asrouting provider, but also meet certain service quality requirements at the same time.QoS-based Ad Hoc network routing problem is a multi-constrained NP problem, the useof traditional routing algorithm is difficult to achieve the desired results. In this regard, basedon the improved AODV protocol, we use the particle swarm algorithm to solve the Ad Hocnetwork QoS routing problem. By improving the route discovery process, we nor only thinkabout the count of hops, but also consider the cost, bandwidth, delay and other QoSparameters, so the result of the searching process is a route than meet certain QoS constraints.Finally, we verify the performance of the modified protocol on the NS2simulation platform,the imulation results show that, under the premise of guaranteed bandwidth, the improvedprotocol performs well in solving the Ad Hoc network QoS routing problem, finding a routewith less costly and smaller delay.
