Petri net models are widely used in the system and the dynamic system simulation,which can intuitively reflect the state of the system changes and development process.The characteristics of the Petri net is applied to the analysis of mechanical systemreliability, especially for describing the mechanical system fault propagation process,and infer the specific reasons for the failure through reverse reasoning, so as to realizethe fault diagnosis. With the increase of the complexity of mechanical systems,systems containing parts quantity increases unceasingly, when using Petri net models,the problem of state space explosion will appear. The reliability analysis and faultdiagnosis in the calculation quantity and complexity grows exponentially. Solving thestate space explosion problem is the key in application of Petri net to practicalengineering, in addition, in the process of using Petri net will involve a lot ofcalculation and modeling, which requires with the aid of computer software, to carryon the Petri net model of mapping and related data calculation. The main researchcontent and innovation are as follows:(1) Combining the stochastic Petri net model and Markov model to solve theproblem of state space explosion by using the decomposition method. The reliabilitymodeling of different types of mechanical system will do.(2) Using Petri nets to qualitative analysis, introduced the path search method,matrix method. Front method to find the minimum cut set. Application of Petri netmodeling of the system logic relationships, and using the concept of accessibility andstate equation to solve the problem of fault detection and diagnosis.(3) Using VC++6.0language with Windows built-in software development kitWin32SDK developed a reliability analysis software based on Petri net modeling,realize the Petri nets model of drawing, state space analysis, the incidence matrix offault diagnosis, and other functions.
