Electrical Capacitance Tomography(ECT) technology, is a kind of methods that placingamount of electrodes around the object to be measured. Each set of two electrodes constitutes apair of electrodes to measure the capacitance value between them. Using these measuredcapacitance values, it can reproduce the distribution of different dielectric constant materialinside the object to be measured by the image reconstruction algorithms. Compared withother detection technology, electrical capacitance tomography technology has simplesystem structure, low price, the object to be measured without damage, non-intrusive measurement mode, no pollution and its measurement of fast response and otheradvantages. In the petroleum, chemical production and power transportation, metallurgy andother fields, especially has a broad prospect of application field of measurement of two-phaseflow. The integrated chip capacitance detection circuit is studied in this paper, the design of ECTsystem capacitance to digital conversion chip based on Pcap01.In this paper, the design of the system is mainly composed of a capacitance sensor, dataacquisition system, composed of host computer imaging system.8electrode capacitance sensor.A data acquisition system with Pcap01as the micro capacitance measurement chip as thecore, using embedded STM32chip as the control core, the simulation of ADG612to switch array as the core to complete the capacitor plates. By using the Qt softwareplatform under WINDOWS as the core of the development of PC imaging software, realizethe internal capacitance sensor pipeline medium distribution image real-time display on PC.The paper introduces the current development of ECT technology, introduced ECTsystem capacitance detection technology. Analysis of the system used in capacitive todigital conversion chip anti stray principle, and the principle of feasibility is verified throughexperiments. The system accuracy test, stability and other indicators, the test results show thatthis system has good anti stray capacity, high precision and stability, can realize onlineimaging and display the8polar plate of ECT system. The system has the advantages of lowcost, simple structure, upper computer software can be convenient cross platformporting, worthy of further research and promotion.
