Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology which can fuse virtual information and realscene. It aims to accurately make the virtual information, including image, audio and video,register on to the image of real scene which is real-time acquired by the camera, and presentthe user the mixed scene to enhance the user’s visual feeling. AR covers the fields of computervision, computer graphics, three-dimensional display technology, and other disciplines. Themain realization technology of AR includes real-time tracking, three-dimensional registration,virtual-actual fusion and interaction technology. The virtual-actual fusion technology is themost intuitive way that user can feel the property of AR system, and is also a hot topic inrecent years.With the development of AR technology, people have changed the attention from solvingthe problem of tracking or registering to solving the depth between the virtual and real objects.Generally, AR system just simply places the virtual objects on the surface layer of real scene,which makes the position between real and virtual objects constant, and cannot achieve theprocess of blocking between the real and virtual objects. It will make user confused ofunderstanding the AR system.According to the above problem, this paper investigates image processing, computervision and other discipline theories, puts forward a method by using depth and image analysisto achieve the depth consistency problem in the AR system. Systematically study from threeaspects:(1) The research and implementation of the depth consistency based on the artificialmark tracking;(2) Using marker to assist the natural features and then without marker toachieve the depth processing method;(3) The system researches and realizes respectively fromtwo aspects, artificial mark and natural characteristics, finally achieve the target of depthconsistency without rebuilding any real scene. In addition, this paper designs a set ofinteraction command system to control virtual object transforming, the system can make userget a better experience and feeling of AR system.
