The analysis of human behavior is that separate the characteristics of thehuman body from the dynamic video sequence and get parts motion data toredefine the meaning of movement. It has a very wide range of applications,human-computer interactive system analysis and make real-time response toexternal through the upper body motion data, so as to solve the problem ofintelligent systems "contact" operation in the field of intelligent interactivesystem, so that "zero-touch" of air operations.At present, the domestic human behavior tracking system development,which is at the very beginning stage, is slow and its processing speed is relativelylow. Overseas performance is higher, the processing speed is fast, but the price isvery expensive. Due to the negative effects, the human behavior tracking systemis restricted, so the research and development of excellent performance, portablesize, function and reliable human behavior tracking system has the vitalsignificance.Based on the former researches, the paper puts forward a method to confirmthe skin of pixel, which uses the way about uniting YUV and RGB color-space,according to the reversible of the color-space-transformation. This method onlyneeds a way of image acquisition that can achieve the tracking of upper body ofhuman behavior to avoid the faults about excessive using of sensor for motiondetection or any other mark. Combined with the powerful ability of the FPGAimage processing, the embedded system based on FPGA Technology greatlysimplifies the system structure and reduces the cost of the system. Hardwaredesign of the system includes a power supply circuit, ADV7180video codingcircuit, SDRAM memory circuit, ADV7123video decoding circuit, JTAGdownload circuit and the EPCS program curing circuit etc. Starting from the human skin detection algorithm and cancroids extraction algorithm the softwaredesign combined with the basic knowledge of video image processing andmathematical statistics constructs a complete system mainly consisted by videocapture module, video decoding module, video storage module, color spaceconversion module, tracking module and human action in video coding anddisplay module. Aiming at large data of human motion system algorithm and thelarge amount of computation and the problem of high throughput-rate, the systemmakes full use of the characteristics of FPGA parallel operation treatment andadopts pure hardware scheme using hardware description language to realize thehuman action tracking system and demonstrates in detail the specific functions ofeach module and detailed architecture. Through the simulation of each module,debugging, the lower plate verification and displaying the result in the VGAdisplay, this system can basically complete the display mode for640*480*60Hzvideo tracking of real-time behavior and show the smoothing effect on thecancroids with the movement of limbs in VGA.
